Yep, I'm so tempted with the STI or EVO... It's only money right? LOL
I've ridden in a pretty fast EVO, and test driven a STI and EVO back to back, and liked the EVO for the handling, but the STI as a DD. (No cruise control on the EVO is rediculus.)
Waiting to see what the new EVO is like with the new body... Same with the STI...
Should make owning a turbo car very fun, and AWD is the only way to go, my A8 proves that to me every time it rains, snows or even on dry pavement, just putting down the power with no drama is awesome. (OK, so I'd sell my A8 and my Supra for a nice used RS6.. LOL)
My brother almost bought a S4 with the 4.2V8 and 6speed, but ended up with a IS300 and automatic... (Commuter car.) But that S4 was sure fun. Looked at a used RS6 down in Utah a while back, but it was too much, and too thrashed for what they were asking. (However, you can't discount stock 450hp, AWD and alcantera and leather trimed interior... )

Still waiting to test the awesomeness that is AWD in the snow. I hope I wont be disappointed.
As for Evo vs. STI, I drove this car and fell in love. it's everything I wanted my 82 to be quick, tight, and boosted. I get tons of :bigthumb: 's, it gets decent mpg (mid 20's, AC on, 90mph), and I can take exit ramps just like in my 82. Oh, and I dont have to check the oil everytime I stop!

Subaru seriously did something wrong in the design department this time, and the EVO's still look mean, just a bit oof balance IMHO...
I'd pick up an older one of either before touching the newer ones if money wasn't an object...

I saw a nice Shelby GT500 tonight driving around cape, it was pretty sick sounding, not C6 Z06 sick but sick none the less. LOL
