As you guys know, Supramania sponsors a drag team.

This past weekend the team put one day into tuning and getting the suspension set right. Due to some rule changes, we had to retune the car for C-16 (VP Import no longer allowed in our class).

Johnny Maguda got strapped behind the wheel and was turned loose. (Johnny is still learning to drive this car btw...)

So with a new driver, with the motor turned WAY down, running only 12 degrees of timing:

Our nearest competition in our class has run a 8.90...

P.S. - That stumbling dork at the end of the vid is Chris Anderson, driver of the big tire car. He also put the tune and suspension setup on this car.

The series is going to Englishtown this weekend, as long as it isn't rained out.

So, AAP runs in a different class than Darin (8.70s with the 6speed) and those 8.50 Mustangs?

Yes, same car.

The blue flamed and green flamed cars are competing this year, as well as the ProMod.

The red car was sold, the orange car was retired and the gunmetal car has had it's stickers removed and is driven on the street. If you pull up next to this on the highway around Atlanta, don't even try it...

Haha thats awesome its driven on the street now. Maybe one day when im in Atlanta i'll see it on the highway so i can freak out and be like "HEY i know what that car is!!"..and then get stomped. :biglaugh:
