There is no magic turbo that will work through the entire rev band of a motor, at least not yet.

I dont think I could ever cut my hood but something subtle like this http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/1422/741/3552870004_large.jpg wouldn't be too bad. As for functionality, someone needs to do some real tests with a tunnel. But who has access to that? Most exterior mods are just for looks with little to no benefits. No need for anybody to get all bent.

what about a quick spool valve, those broaden the curve, right?

It was actually a press that he had. He was also the guy that installed the A-duct for me. I'm going back to see if he can roll my fenders some as well. He's one of those guys that can make a car shell from scratch out of an English wheel. Very talented guy.
