OK... not necessarily part of the MkIII Smackdown but one of these FIERCE competitors will take this new award home.

Donald Nakano from BC has generously contributed a chunk of change to the cause. After the conversion and the fees we have $450 to give away. Donald would like to see this money split. Half will go to the quickest (ET) 7M-GTE powered MkIII running an automatic, the other half will go to the quickest (ET) 7M-GTE powered MkIII running a 5Speed.

The only rules here are as follows:
1. Must be a MkIII body
2. Must be running a 7M-GTE
ANYTHING else goes!

Why is everyone so scared of the little 2J, is it because the oh so mighty 7M has not proven itself yet? You know there is a reason they did not use that motor in a mkiv. See Duane your fix could have been paid for.

it would be nice if duane's car make's it down there.i can appreciate all the attention to detail under the hood and the exterior.i haven't seen pic's of anybody else's car,that has went through such a make over.even if he doesn't show,other's will carry the torch for us mkIII owner's.
