Vacuum Lines. To be or not to be?

I'm still rebuilding the motor. Got 98% of it done. I've seen the vacuum line diagram and all, I know where they all go. I just don't want them. Two of my friends who own 300z's just say to plug everything off. When I got the car the EGR was already ditched, along with more than half the vacuum lines. Instead of spending more money that I barley have, could I really just plug everything off? I just don't think the Supra will react as the 300z's. Thanks everyone...

not a smart idea especially when you consider the vsv's that control the fuel pressure regulator. Also with the ISC valve, no vacuum running here will make you car idle like shit.

tell your 300z friends to keep their opinions to themselves and spend the $20 in vacuum lines to replace them

Totally agree...I know people who seem to have mechanical smarts but I wouldn't do anything they recommend at all. Hey, on the brighter side, you asked here and were given a definite answer :icon_razz
