so, i replaced the tps in my car, and now i am only down to two codes. one for the temp sensor, and one for a switch sensor?? first off, wtf is a switch sensor? and is it a big deal if its busted?

second, after i replaced the tps, my car seems pretty normal, but the engine smokes, then comes into the cab of the car...smells bad...im thinking oil?

and on top of that, when i depress the accelorator pedal, the rpms drop like its gunna die, then it builds up form there....but it doesnt make as much power as normal..... please, tell me

WTF IS WRONG WITH MY CAR????

and save yourself the trouble of calling me a noob- i know i am.

22 is the water temp sensor...that means that the ECU is basically getting no signal from it, meaning that the sensor itself or the wiring to it is bad.

Code 51 means that your TPS is bad or isn't adjusted correctly.

lol...sometimes i wonder why people bother with me...maybe a supra wasnt a good choice as my very very first car now, was it?

Probably not a good choice if you aren't interested in cars...but then again, any old car is going to need work. The only way for you to avoid having to *think* would be to buy something new.

And I am guessing you have an oil leak somewhere, and a firewall grommet is torn/missing, and allowing smoke from the engine bay to enter the cabin...among other things.

colin, i did check my codes, thank you.
It wasn't about the codes. In the last rambling idiotic thread you made I told you to check for your hood seal when the smoke was coming in and all you could come back with was "wtf is a hood seal". I told you in that thread, and you still have to ask again! It really blows me away.
