So I went to the Marine Corps Ball on Friday.....had a good time and figured I would share some pics with you guys. For those who dont know, its pretty much a celebration of the birthday of the Corps and a chance for all Marines to eat dinner and drink with eachother....and that we did! Enjoy!

This was taken in the beginning of the night. Im the one on the right. The guy in the white shirt is out of the Marine Corps but went to Iraq with us last year.

Marines work hard and we play hard!!

If you ever get invited to go to the Marine Corps Ball, GO!! Its always a good time!

Its funny that you bring it up, cause thats some of the biggest smiling that my wife has ever gotten outta me. (probably the alcohol)

That's funny - I just spoke to the wife of a Marine the other day, and she said "I hate going to that fucking ball."
She didn't give many reasons why, but I can imagine there is a bit of pretentiousness and bullshit to go along with some of the fun.

I have seen Marine Corps Balls like that, but this one wasnt the case. I guess that each unit will have different assholes in charge that want to stand out and be heard.

Dont worry, there were Docs there, just didnt take any pics with em. Most of the docs at the ball were all boots and we didnt know em. Now the docs we went to Iraq with the first time were bad ass and I wouldve liked to take some photos with them.
