The toyota partsman told me that the touch up paint comes in a pen style applicator, I assume for correcting rock chips and such, but I have some spidrer-webbing that is annoying me on my front bumper, Right under the nost and on the sides of the nose, next to the Grilles.

Now this can go either way.

How could I possibly use the paint in this style applicator, to correct these blemishes

OR

What is my best option to correct this.

Thanks guys

Kyle, that applicator is used for real tiny scratches. You kinda have to dab it and its tedious. I have used it on another car before. The fix will show for sure when u look at it.

I have that same spyder web crack on the front of my car and my painter told me the only way tro get that out is to strip the part and repaint. Otherwise you will have a funny locking stripes on the front if you use the touch up paint.

heres what you do depending on the chip you are fixing if its down to bare plastic/metal you need to use the wax/greese cleaner then primer pen first , after a day of drying use the coler pen and then after another day use the clear coat pen. When you apply make sure you cover the area completly because paint srinks when it drys. All ways put it on in light coats building up to the desired thickness. After the clear is dry wet sand the spot so it is flush with the rest of your paint and buff it so it will match. Good luck take your time and have a steddy hand and you'll be happy with the results
