Maybe it's just me... but did anyone else notice a significant increase in gas mileage after they upgraded from stock twins?
I regularly see about 30-50 extra miles per fill up compared to my stock twin setup.
It's just the way I drive the car now. Before, I used to be WOT everywhere 'cause full boost was there on tap at anytime. But not anymore. It's not bad, just different.
-1st gear is useless. Won't build full boost in 1st.
-2nd gear revs out for me around 70ish@7500RPM. On the street, I can't do that. 70 in a 45-50 zone is bad news.:biglaugh: 2nd gear is great for on ramps though.
-3rd revs out over 100, so that's bad too. :biglaugh:
-4th will have me doubling the speed limit with ease.
I find myself doing a lot more relaxed driving and cruising, which isn't a bad thing.
kbye,
