well i got my 60-1 trim ct on and boost controler is not hooked up currently running wastegate, for some reason boost just climbs to 18 lbs eaisly and im hitting fuel cut.

My setup currently is 550s and lex, air/water intercooler, 2.5" chargepipes, suprasport downpipe with elbow no cat no mufflers, 60-1 ct, the motor has Je pistons with 8.9 -9.0:1 cr, Mhg and arps.

so far i dont have safc or anything to adjust fuel trims, but my first concern is the ability to control boost. i would like to run like 15-16 ish for now as i dont really want to be on the limit all the time. Do i need to port the wastegate opening? There is no boost leaks of any kind.

also if you were on a budget would you go origional maft or safc? maft seems to be a little cheaper. seem i can get what i want from both.

When I first ran my 60-1 I had to port the wastegate in order to stop slamming fuel cut... You might want to double check your wastegate too to make sure its working properly.

As far as tuning goes I have ran mine on MAFT basic with all the mods listed in my sig and have my A/F reading around 11.7 WOT with meth.

Have you checked your wastegate? You might have bad, worn out wastegate spring. Try swaping it out with another wastegate. Good luck

boost creep, i had this when i fitted a "free flowing cat" happened in 3rd+ gear in high rpm mainly (stock ct26), the waste gate cant control boost only way to fix it is port the waste gate or fit an external one.

Or your waste gate is not opening correctly/at all?

i had it happen on my 57trim ct26 as well, but it has a clipped rear wheel so it only creeps a little bit

given you have no mufflers or cat you may be in the same boat as me.

i have a 3" DDP, 3" "highflow cat" and 3" cat back with 1 straight through muffler at the end

Apply PSi (air compressor or bike pump)to the wastegate and see if the arm fully moves. Sounds like to me the wastegate or flapper door has some kind of problem.
