Is there not a clutch shop in your area? The guy who i take my stuff too makes clutches for the big trucks..... He was good friends with my dad so he gives me a really good deal. I take everything and drop it off with him in morning and then i pick it up whenever. He inspects all the parts and calls me if there are any issues.

With you being in florida i am sure there are many places that make clutches or ship it some where.....

Man, once I got the RPS 3200pp and stg 3 6-puck... things have never been better.

It really depends on your tq estimations... I need something to hold over 650, but a simple Spec II I've seen hold over 450 ft lbs.

Yeah, they're just stock PP's with 6 pucks/full faces... etc.

How bad is the clutch itself right now? It sounds like its slipping. It sounds like the stock PP's last for a while, so if you're slipping and you only have enough money for the clutch or PP, get a new clutch so you stop slipping.

Once the clutch is worn, it's kinda of an exponential decrease in grip, it will begin to slip more and more. You can get back in there for the PP later. This is my advice, of course unless you can save up to get the whole kit or the clutch and PP together, than you only need to go into the tranny once.

I did the stock pressure plate with a six puck @ 631hp with no problems. the only problem I ran into was after I changed my clutch master cylinder it started to slip but i think it was becasue the pedel wasn't adjusted, it was close to the floor. So now I fixed that I haven't been able to drive it because the turbo is off.
