Unknown plug found near CPS

I was installing my new high pressure line and found a connector just hanging down next to the pump.
Car is running like a champ but I never saw this connector even when I did the turbo install. Its 2 prong in the center comes off of the loom with the water neck/cps and the wires are white with white and black stripe.

I looked around and didn't see anything. Is this maybe a diag port?

I never should have said a word.... now after reassembly I can't rev at start and it's dropping rpms. If I push the throttle it chokes out and dies.... crap.
