unknown garrett turbo part2 with pics

hi, i need some input on a garrett turbo that was offered to me.

neither I nor the seller know anything about it.
I know it could be a lot of things but if anybody would share their thoughts about it... thanks

of course i would like to put it on my 2JZ and make more than 500 RWHP :biglaugh:

the plate is non readable but has something with "detroit diesel" written on it

Garrett GT42 or GT45 t6 turbo form a Detroit Diesel engine. It appears to be one of the larger compressor wheel varieties. Get a smaller t4 framed housing for it, and yes you will make 500+ hp with good fuel and a good engine + tune.
