You must have a dampened harmonic balancer/ crankshaft pulley. without it you will do fast damage to your crank and bearings.

The Cressida mx83 and mx75 has a front pulley without a dampener. It's just a solid pulley. Why the difference. I don't know.

^^^ That is unless your 20 year old original damper has all the internal rubber dry rotted ;)

The ATI damper is a good 5 lbs lighter than OEM and it's cheaper than buying the stocker at the dealer.

No kidding, they want more ?
Never thought of calling the dealer when mine went bad,
I just picked up the phone, and called Summit.
They had the ATI in stock for $395.

Yeah, Unorthodox is an expensive, well made piece of jewelry,
that can damage your engine.
(I don't even think they offer them any more)

And OBX is worse yet,
it's cheap, has no dampening,
and most likely like the rest of their product line,
out of tollerance, and poorly made.

I come from a land down under
AJ: By that stage I was making enough HP that a stock one wasn't looking too safe even with it being brand new.

I figured it kills 2 birds with one stone and would work well with the Light crank and offset the Torque Converter's additional weight.
