What happens generally if you use undampened crank pulleys? Effects, longitivity, hp ability etc

wasn't for mine just wanted to inquire for a 4age and thought they were bad news but i wanted some educated information on them instead of my "i think they shatter or something" haha

Not sure if a 4ag uses a dampened pulley or not myself...if it does, you don't want to use anything else that's not dampened.

Yea the 4a uses dampened also... so i would expect same end result.
I was wondering about aftermarket pulley's for the 7m as well, is there a hp i should be changing from the stock one? Is there any telltale signs of failure that i can look for? And who does aftermarket ones that you recommend?

I didn't think the 4A-GE's was dampened. I haven't looked at one in a long time though, there's too much stuff in the way in my black car, lol. I'll take a look tonight I've got one out of the car right now and another on a 4A-GZE in my garage.

what kind of weight difference is there between the stocker and the ati?

SIP Racing (suprarich) has ATI Dampers for the 7M...might be worth a PM for the 4AG.
They are actually a bit cheaper than a new stock damper from Toyota

Yes...you want to run a damper even on a zero balance assembly. Even better is to balance with the damper and fly wheel/flex plate bolted on.
