whens the last time you done a tune up? or checked for vacuum leaks. that would cause it to flicker.

Looks like 51 has the answer for you:

Trouble Area

* A/C switch circuit
* A/C switch
* A/C amplifier
* Throttle position sensor circuit
* Throttle position sensor
* ECU

And i dont think the A/C has anything to do with you're problem, and you're ECU is most likely still good. So you can find what ails you in here http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/

a/c asnt on, but i had the vents open to let in air from the engine....does that matter? cuz i ALWAYS have it set like that, cuz my a/c doesnt work in the first place, so i just keep the vent open to try and keep the engine bay a bit cooler...

LOL the a/c in no way is at fault LOL

Plus keeping the vent open doesn't matter if you don't have the heater on (coolant flow threw the heater core)

Just Check you're Throttle position sensor and its circuit ;)
