uh...ya...wierd?

the check engine light comes on, goes off, comes on, goes off....no codes though...wierd..

and my car started stuttering..like it was about to die....any advice guys??

sounds wired. Try to pull the 15A EFI fuse in the egine bay, wait about 30 seconds, and put the fuse back in and see what happens.

whens the last time you done a tune up? or checked for vacuum leaks. that would cause it to flicker.

it does more than flicker, but it never stay for more than...say...10 seconds?

but anyway, a vaccuum leak would cause that?

when does it do it? idle, under boost, around corners?

If it comes on, it should set a code in memory.

Pull the codes, see what comes up.

i am not super car savvy, as everyone and their brother knows. i am just curious about how to fix these problems....

Looks like 51 has the answer for you:

Trouble Area

* A/C switch circuit
* A/C switch
* A/C amplifier
* Throttle position sensor circuit
* Throttle position sensor
* ECU

And i dont think the A/C has anything to do with you're problem, and you're ECU is most likely still good. So you can find what ails you in here http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/

a/c asnt on, but i had the vents open to let in air from the engine....does that matter? cuz i ALWAYS have it set like that, cuz my a/c doesnt work in the first place, so i just keep the vent open to try and keep the engine bay a bit cooler...

LOL the a/c in no way is at fault LOL

Plus keeping the vent open doesn't matter if you don't have the heater on (coolant flow threw the heater core)

Just Check you're Throttle position sensor and its circuit
