Uh oh.... high idle. 3k RPM high!

Alright, I am all out of ideas so I'm turning to Supramania for help. Yesterday I took the Supra out for a short drive and for the first time, I went WOT. It was at WOT for maybe 3-4 seconds in 3rd gear, and when I let off the gas the RPMs didn't drop as fast as they usually do and they stayed at about 2.5k RPMs at idle. Now when I turn it on it goes up to about 3k RPM =(

Went home, shut it off, and checked for codes, but there were none. I then went through and checked:

1. vacuum hoses: all seem fine
2. ISC is clicking and resistances look fine
3. TPS was recently adjusted, but I am going to check it again tomorrow
4. all intercooler couplers and places where there might be a leak seem fine too. I did used to have a boost leak but I fixed that and it still looks tight.
5. The dash pot is good, or at least I can blow through one side and it's hard to do it on the other side...
6. reset the ECU, everything still the same
7. timing was normal before, I can't really tell now if it's ok at 3k RPM all the time but could it have been messed up?

Right now I am thinking it's maybe my AFM, but that was functioning perfectly and I can see no reason why it would just suddenly fail.

Is it possible my intake manifold or something large is leaking? All gaskets are new throughout the engine and I followed all the torque specs in the TSRM.

I don't believe my FPR is broken, and my whole fuel system is stock.

Does anyone know of something else that would cause a high idle?

Thats a very high idle. First i would suspect a stuck throttle cable. after you check that...I'd suspect a vacuum leak/broken hose to the ISC. Perform a boost leak test and look over carefully all air hoses to ISC. Check the piece under the ISC valve as well

TPS can also be a culprit in this if you recently adjusted it. Make sure its within spec.

I am going to go check the TPS, CPS, and AFM again. Would a throttle somehow get stuck open only when the engine is running? It works fine when the engine is off but I never thought to check its position while the engine was running.

As for hoses to the ISC, all I can find are two coolant hoses. Are there vacuum hoses to it? It seems like it would make sense for there to be a few...

Parts diagrams are your friend. :)

The idle speed control assembly is #22270
