So today I was driving my car and in third gear at about 3000rpms. My buddy was next to me goofing off in his bmw so I decided to toy with him a little. I pushed the peddle in and went to about 4700rpms, when I hit around there the car jerked like it had hit fuel cut or something.
It doesnt make since though, Only mods I have are bored 40 over, weisco piston, arp studs, eagal rods and type s BOV. I fixed one problem I had with the turbo, which was somebody before me didnt connect the hose back correctly from the actuator on the turbo, back to the turbo. I fixed that though.
I also noticed about 3days ago a ANNOYING whistle that developed while I was driving. I believe its a boost leak but dont qoute me on it. If it is a boost leak could that have caused fuel cut?
The whistle only happens when the turbo spools and the BOV spits. if the turbo is close to full spool it doesnt whistle.
