Did you guys look at his specs for the 0-60 and 1/4 times. LOL

"The 7M-GTE MA70 is capable of propelling itself 0-60 mph in 6.0 seconds with 6.8 psi of boost. It reached the 1/4 mile in 14.4 seconds at a speed of 99 mph. Its top speed is 149 mph"

Uhh he means 99mph trap speed... Nice try though.
What???

I was reffering to his 1/4 times which he claims it goes 14.4 seconds and 0-60 in 6.0 sec flat. NO stock 7M is that fast.

Toyota's claimed acceleration for 1990 Turbo (Auto and 5-speed):

0-100km/h: 6.3 seconds
0-400m: 14.5 seconds

My source is a more reliable source. :p

I don't have the data sheets for 1989. My numbers are direct from Toyota, not a magazine. Obviously Toyota will have tested it a ton of times to find the best possible time to publish. I doubt anyone could match it without getting lucky, etc.

I see

Its just that most completely stock MK3's seem to be in the mid to low 15's in the quarter mile.

What I want to know is why would you spend 4k on a sound system when you can put that towards performance?

Because he wanted to.

Why do people spend a bunch of money on engine swaps and builds and still roll around on sawblades?

It's just priorities.

I have seen MUCH worse. Trust me I work at Honda, and I have seen things that would make you puke.:nono:

I don't think that color is that bad...the lime greens, hot pinks, and variations of mirrage/changing colors I have seen are far worse.

The way he spent his money on the car however tells all you need to know. Anyone that puts that much cash into a sound system and crylons the engine bay never takes care of the cars basic needs.

EDIT: I just noticed in the engine pic its lacking a upper rad hose and rad cap...
