Who won between Royce Gracie and Matt Hughes? My charter cable wouldn't let me get the fight without calling in and ordering it. We stayed on hold until the phone went dead. Pissed me off, but couldn't do anything about it.:3d_frown:

Hughes won 20 or so seconds before the end of the first round. He had Gracie in a horrible arm lock, but Gracie never tapped. Gracie finally rolled to his stomach and Hughes just ground and pounded the back of his head. This went on for about 10 or so seconds and Big John stopped the fight. Gracie said he'd be back.... :evil2:

Thanks for the update. I really thought Royce would have a chance. I used to watch every one of the ufc's. Royce WAS the man! I can't wait for it to come on somewhere where I can see it...............lol

I'm not really much for the UFC stuff, but after seeing that fight I have a whole new respect for those guys. Plus, I'm friends with a girl from Hughes hometown.

I thought the Hughes-Gracie fight was lame, I would have liked to see it last a bit longer than it did. I was dissapointed in how fast Matt Hughes won.

I did like when Spencer Fisher hit Matt Wiman in the face with the jumping knee, and I also liked when Melvin Guillard knocked out Rick Davis. If he would have connected with that second punch he threw I think Davis would have lost his head :aigo:

That was such a funny fight!! Davis was making his UFC debut at 36? That Melvin dude should said to Davis "You got knocked the FUCK out!" That woulda been sweet :bigthumb:

Thanks for the fight dcrusupra. I was a little dissappointed in Gracie. He was never going forward or trying to be aggressive. He looked scared of Matt, and we all know he isn't scared of anyone. At least, I don't think that he's scared of anyone. Maybe he lost so poorly to try and get a rematch. Thanks for the link nontheless.............lol
