just want to know a good tune with psi on the injectors and turning the adustment screw on the lex afm and boost levels. i know it is better to tune with a piggyback or safc but i just want some good feed back. not u should go out and spend a lot of money and buy this. i have a upgraded ct26 60-1 with all of the bells and whistles but the ones i stated. also will the ct 60-1 hold 20psi ok without blowing up. i know some of u guys have some good hp levels on this kind of setup. so far i have 293hp at 14psi and stock psi to injectors and i know i can get more.

My setup makes me run pig rich under stock fp psi levels... For others, the same fp psi causes them to run lean as hell... put it on a dyno or buy a wbo2.

Hey man i run the 87 rx7 turbo II 550s on my supra, along with a walbro , ct26/60-1, afpr , Safc2 , stock intercooler with 2.5 pipes and a 3in turbo back no cats. I have so far made 355rwhp and 377 rwtq at 12 psi and at 15 psi i made made 377 rwhp and over 400rwtq on STOCK INJECTORS at 33psi fuel pressure with vac on. Now i added the rx7 550s and the big spearco style intercooler waiting to hit the dyno. get at least an safc2 for some tuning , i got one for sale if you are interested let me know and good luck...

The safc2 has 2 maps for 2 set ups. I had my first one tuned for low boost and then when i wanted to run high boost i scrolled down on the safc2 and switched to file 2. When i went to the dyno i tuned low boost = FILE 1 and high boost = FILE 2. I think thats what the guys ment by 2 maps :aigo:

A got a nearly perfect AFR tune with the regular SAFC.

Supraboy, do you have a walbro fuel pump?
Usually you will run very rich at high RPM's with the 550/lexafm with no AFR tuning. You would be amaised how the rich AFR's will kill your topend power.

Get a wideband or a tune. And don't try pushing too much boost through the stock intercooler.

so what would be a good reason to have two settings.

look guys the reason i ask is because i can get a safc1 for cheep like $100 cheep from sombody i know. i still dont understand the benifits of having two maps besides havin two hp setings right.

The main thing I use the two map setting on my SAFC II is so my car remains more "streetable". I run one at about 12 psi and the other at about 16. So it has it's uses, mostly just so you are running your car so hard all the time. At least with my car, I like to know I can run it hard as hell when I want, but I don't want to abuse it when I am just driving around.
But, good luck with whatever you decide.

P.S. I heard back when I bought my SAFC II that a lot of guys didn't like the NEO because of Software issues. I am not sure if this info is incorrect (having never owned one) or if it is factual so take it with a grain of salt. But I heard that most of the features were not supported with the Karman sensor setup.

A friend of mine has an safc neo. It's pretty cool, and colorful, and easy to use, but i prefer a graph like on the safc and safc II. I havent spent a lot of time on it, just enough to put my w/b on it and tune it for him. I personally still prefer the safc II. Took it off my supra and put it on the camry
