Type A rare car?????? Anyone heard of this????

1988 Toyota Supra Turbo Type A......Inline 6 twin cam 24 valve type A turbo...it is a 5-speed car...it has the targa top.....leather interior.....needs fuel pump relay, clutch, and tires......rare car.... The picture of the document is a paper that can prove that the car is one of 500 made.....The fact that it is all black, leather interior, targa top, and the type A turbo...options that were only available in 1988 on these cars that are 1 of 500.........$2000 obo call Nick 256-546-2893 or 256-295-2610

There were only 11 Group A cars made, so ya, that's pretty damn unlikely.

Probably a Turbo A car, there were 500 of those.

I only know of 1 True turbo A imported in North America & that was Canada. Keep in mind while it was produced in 1988 it will have 89+ body & Interior. Also will be Right Hand drive & have front bumper duct. That ad sounds like a scam

Yep...don't see it being a Turbo A either. Not for 2k...

All Turbo A's were Hardtops. The interior was gray not black. There were no plaques given for the car to identify which number it was. The cars had to be ordered from the dealer and it was only sold in Japan. There is no real record of how many were produced. 500 was just the minimum number to meet homologation.

TurboA CT26's had the letter E stamped on it. Just the fact its LHD proves it isnt.

A "A" stamped on the turbo doesn't not make it a turbo A model or model turbo.All CT26's have a A stamped on them.
