This one was when I lined up with the Porsche and we both ran 12.8 and he was so surprised that I was with him the whole way.

Thanks to everyone that helped me out this weekend! My car blew up on the last run and I was only running on 5 cylinders come to find out since I put the motor in! It took at least 16 quarts of oil to get from the track to Austin. :cry:

But Thanks to everyone that came out!!! Next year will be bigger and better and I plan on doing a lot more for the drags, like vids, pics and t shirts!! As long as I have a job when TX2K10 comes around!!!LOL!

Yay my car got in the pics(white 90), too bad thats all it was doing was sitting there not racing. Damn stock motor mounts couldn't handle all that 1jz torque. :naughty:

Watch out, next time I will have a working lsd with newer shocks than 19 years old and I will take down that stock class! ::toothless::

I figured it was ring failure, it lost vacuum soon after going together but we were thinking it was a leak somewhere. We were wrong.:cry:

699? Who was that and what did he run? I thought that F&H did 780...no? That is what I heard. What was the fastest/quickest 7M at the drags?

I think it was shawns car think his best time was 9.6~ someone correct me if im wrong. F&H had two cars there if im not mistaken. Victor is the one who dynoed 699. Im amazed how many mk4's blew up this year

Shawn Cassidys (sp?) car.. 9.99 or 9.9x i believe. Was extremely consistent, running low low 10s all day long. Very well setup car those guys have! :Big thumb:

Victors car only went a 10.6 @ 138 iirc. We didn't get a good launch or run the nitrous down the track before it broke the diff.

He did 780 a few weeks back in texas it only did 700. It still trapped the same though (136 back in tampa and 138 in texas), so thats all that mattered.

I recomend taste of texas for the dinner.... it was great! mmmmmmm

But we had just before we left back for FL.. and it gave us the itis.. not a good plan. haha.

Craig used to be one of the pilots I worked with at my part time air ambulance job. He's now flying big Airbus's A330's and A340's over in the Middle East. Glad this event coincided with his little bit of vacation time.

That was me in the near lane on the 1st run in that video. I ran a 12.15 to his 12.18, he got there 1st but he left early so I got the win. He was running hard all day long and had the best looking car IMO, much respect.

I ran a best of 11.77.

I'll get my videos up ASAP.

BigDough, thanks for the props, and I was almost happy with the whole weekend. Duane told me I couldn't even call him if I didn't make it into the elevens, but I swear I'd made it a couple of times if it wasn't for the thirty mile an hour head wind we were fighting. Having a 3970 lb car doesnt help anything either. I think I'll go on a one week fast next year before the Tx2k10 so I can lose about twenty pounds. That should get me into the elevens so Duane won't be ashamed of me anymore...........:cry:

Next year should be lots of fun for sure.
