Another thing for your clunking sound ( since you said your suspension is messed up ) you may want to look at your strut plates on the front. There are bearings up there that allow the struts to turn with the springs. If those go out, you could be hearing that clunking around. with your tire off, grab your spring and pull and push on it and see if its loose at all. If it is pull the whole assembly and check the top plate.

I checked the springs and they don't budge at all. I think that the shocks are just blown.

No, the shock/spring does NOT turn with the wheel as we DON'T have that type of suspension setup.

This is the tech section, don't spread wrong info.

you need to be banned from the tech sections!!!!!!!!!!

Shut the fuck up already....you post in these tech sections as if you actually think you know something.....guess what champ?, you don't have a god damn clue!!! Ma70 supras run coilover type "shocks" on a double wishbone suspension....the shocks are not connected to the wheels AT ALL!!! Our shocks do not twist, they do not turn, they just move up and down...

Now I know I'm no damn angle on this forum...and I sure as hell have ALOT to learn yet.....
I come here to learn but I'm getting stoopiderer!

Another tidbit, I swapped out my Fan clutch the other day and noticed my car over 4k rpms was vibrating really bad. I thought to myself that there is no way that the other fan clutch that I just put on is causing this. It really felt like a carrier bearing or something. But I was like, you know what I'm going to take it off and just see. I took my son to school and went above 4k rpms and doesn't do it any more. Aint that some Shit!!

Ok, the problem with the steering persists.

I have ruled out the wheel bearing,
Checked the rack, it's not leaking and is tight,
Checked the lower ball joint, and it looks like it needs to be replaced, ordered a new one for both fronts.
Will be getting new front shocks, Bilstien,
Looked at the caliper and it looks like the top of the caliper has some play where the pin is. Is there a way to fix that?

But Still just can't figure out why it is grinding now.
