so my car currently has twin trust td05-16'gs on it
the td05-16g compressor map looks like this
now i dont know what, if any, the difference between a regular td05 and a trust td05 is, but assuming that map is the same, how would i go about finding a large single that would flow a similar amount of air to my twin td05s ? i dont really know how to read a compressor map, nevermind how to compare 2 of them to 1.
it will probably be a while before i change anything, but im thinking i would be better off running 1 big single, that way i can go ball bearing and get better spool, and save weight and complexity. the problem is the engine is kind of a mystery to me as it was built in japan, its a 1jz, and what i believe to be 272 cams. all i know for sure is i dont make boost till 4k, and full boost doesnt hit till 4500 (16psi), so because the engine is a mystery i dont know how to select a turbo for it other then by picking something that flows similar air to the 2 turbos i have now.
