Turbonetics T60-1?

I've read the sticky on turbos for the Supra where it was mentioned that you could put the T60-1 compressor inside the 26s housing, but this is not what I'm wondering about. I currently have a Turbonetics T60-1 turbo for my Civic Si and am wondering if this turbo could be used with the Supra. Would it be a big hassle and require a lot of money? or would it bolt right up?
Any info would be appreciated..

It'll be a big hassle unless it happens to be the unit that was built for the Supra, which I'd consider to be unlikely at best.

Turbonetics does put a 60-1 or 62-1 compressor wheel, on a Garret center section, inside CT26 housings. Horsepower Freaks sells them.

hm ok.. i was hoping that if it wouldnt bolt directly on, that i could at least use an aftermarket manifold, the evolution wastegate thats already on it, the proper flange, and a custom downpipe. i havent seen much about the 60-1 on here, but have read a few posts about the 62-1 which state that they will work.

here is one of the posts: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13912

Is the wastegate an internal unit? That would be a problem, it's unlikely that any of the manifolds sold for the Supra will adapt easily to an internal wastegate meant for another car...

If it's external, then you should likely be able to get a manifold pretty easily. Then you're just left with a custom downpipe, and modifying your intercooler piping. And fabbing oil lines. And coolant lines if the turbo requires them.

Some of the Turbonetics 60-1 turbos won't fit without a spacer plate, too.

I am using an external wastegate; a Turbonetics Evolution. I haven't seen anyone address my particular question in other posts, but from some posts I have read, I'm starting to get the idea that it would actually work without too much of a hassle.

as for it requiring an oil restrictor or full flow.. i have no idea, heh.

i guess right now i just need to focus on actually getting the supra before i worry about modding it!
