Yep finally got another soupy.
CAR:
86.5 Burgandy Hardtop 5-Speed
Drove freaking 8 hours each way to get it.
Very little rust on the exterior, no rust on the underside, and a lot of rust in the spare tire well (Fuel Cell time maybe?).
Came with intake and cat-back exhaust which is cool!
PLANS:
I'm really considering making a drift car out of it. I have way too many friends that are drifters(one guy I know just got into D1 last weekend in NJ) to make a 1/4 mile machine out of it. Plus I love being different and I haven't seen a successful MK3 drifting yet.
So plans are as follows:
-Get the N/A running
-Drop it like its hottttt (Coilovers)
-Wheels and Tires(times a jillion) Work VS-XX with like a +15 offset or so...
-Work on the horrendous steering angle (30 degrees?? C'mon WTF mate???)
-Front Lip (3-hole lip)
-THEN get my spare 7mgte built up
-Needs a lot of work to get it running such as new pistons, intake manifold, turbo, exhaust manifiold...etc.
- Upgrades will be the usual 550cc's, lexus afm, maft-pro, 57 trim ct-26...2-step!!!!!....etc.
...oh yeah I forgot to mention that. MY friend is getting my a 7mgte block and head for free!!!
