Take the plastic off your steering column, and the panel below the steering column, basically everything to get to the wires under your steering column.
You'll see the plug you have to put the harness into, and it's just plug and play from there.

OK, sorry to revive such an old thread, but I am having some difficulty finding where this plus goes beneath the steering column. Can anyone help me locate this plug.

Also, the TT i have came with a harness that has a three prong end, is this the correct harness?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the right harness. I have an HKS timer is well and still can't get if figured out. The term "Plug and Play" for this thing is a joke.

I just had mine installed, and weenied out and payed somebody . He tried to hard wire it and skip the harness the first time. He worked on it for 2 hours, and then realized the harness was gonna be needed. So he ordered it, and I had to come back. On the 3rd trip he finally did the work. It took him 15 minutes with the harness (interior panels were already taken off). He just plugged it in, and ran wites for the e-brake and a ground. The e-brake arms the system, so that wire has to be there.

For the inconvienience of coming back 3 times, all I had to pay for was the harness. I was very cool with that, because I needed the extra miles to get my new clutch broke in anyway.

Guys just pull off the cover underneath the steering cloumn.
Look up at the harness going to the ignition.
Disconnect it.
Plug in the harness.
Plug in the Timer.
If you are running the HKS, splice the 3 loose end wires into the ebrake wire, RPM signal, and speed sensor wire.
I'm pretty sure that is all, and enjoy your fully functional TT.
(Note- my RPM has never read correctly on the HKS unit. There is a calibration but it is either way too high or way too low. I dont think it actually calibrates to exactly where the RPM's are but reads from a range. This is on a 1JZ tho so you may not have any problems with this.)

Dont think so.
My buddy's got a Blitz and he had to do it also.
It's so the timer knows that the car is parked and to leave the timer going so the car idles.

The only thing the E-brake wire does on my Greddy TT is enable the feature of the car to shut off if the E-brake is put down (Someone hops in your car and tries to drive away).
If you don't connect the wire the only difference is it will keep timing out if the E-brake is up or down. (you can put the e-brake down, and still drive it without the key, but the steering wheel locks)
