How much boost can I run with the stock turbo, 3" exhaust(consiting of BIC DDP, test pipe, 3 inch catback and 3 inch flowmaster) and upgraded IC and hard pipes? I never get a straight answer, But how will the ct hold up? I just want to get a brand new fuel pump, above mods, FCD, and turn it up to at least 13-14 psi. Which is my next question, How much crank or rwhp on 12-14 psi? And can the stock fuel system handle that?

ran my ct26 for over 6 months at over 1 bar with some stints into the 18psi range on a lex and 550s.(call it 85k miles on the turbo when pulled) the rear seal started to puff a little toward the end when i decided to up grade to an sp61gt and it worked great when i sold it to another guy in houston and as far as i know it was still ticking!

this is an old post, but about how many HPs can i expect with that setup from my origina post? i was told 300-315 at the wheels, if all goes well. I have to get it running first of course.

On a healthy turbo and engine you'll see around 300 at the wheels. But be careful with that FCD, Fuel cut is there for a reason.

ahh, that was a while ago. I have since learned how an FCD works, and i wouldnt use one. ill just try to keep the boost under fuel cut. Do you think ill have a problem with the stock fuel pump and injectors? or should i tone it down a bit

just an fyi, aside from the stock 440s, i immediately looked for upgraded fuel. that should be the 1st rule for these cars when beginning to modify these cars.

A lot of people need to understand one thing clearly.

If you take (3) brand spanking new sports cars off the lot, do the exact same modifications on all three and throw them all on the dyno...You can expect very close if not identical numbers.

Well, that's not the case here. We're dealing with 15-20 year old:

Chassis, transmission, engine, and in some cases, pumps and/or fuel components.

Point is, One A70 with identical mods as another can put down 20rwhp more than what an identical one would. It ALL depends on the mechanics, liveliness and healthiness that your 7M is in.

With that being said, on a side note: FCD's are *okay* to use if you've already upgraded to a Lexus AFM / 550cc's or bigger.

FCO is your friend. It is 100% there for a reason. :)
