I have 2 turbos a 60-1 ct 26 with a bad compressor wheel and a stock ct26 that is in good shape. the compressor housing is in good shape on the 60-1.

I was wondering if its possible for me to buy a 60-1 compressor wheel and essentialy combine my 2 turbos so i have a 60-1 turbo for pretty cheap.

answer is kind of yes...lol you can have your 60-1 rebuilt for a decent price. only problem is those dont last very long. im not sure what you mean by combine the 2

im sure the compressor wheel needs to be machined to fit the housing...which also means the turbo is gonna need balanced....which also means its gotta be stripped and im sure the bearings replaced...which means that if you arent a person that has the equipment to build a turbo then no you cant just interchange parts.

Check out the vendors section and find "Driftmotion" They have a section on upgraded c26. Good questions and answers. They seem to be the authority on rebuilds. Your 60-1 trim has shortfalls as suprafantic posted above. Its documented in the driftmotion pages.
