Didn't get an answer in the other thread so here it is again.

Just got an 89 turbo supra turbo was working fine for a while. But after my clutch burnt out i noticed i wasnt hitting boost i'd just floor it and nothing. When i drove it before i would start to hear this high pitch whistle but now its gone any help?

Have you checked for boost leaks. Can you hear the turbo spool up? Is it smoking at all? Do you have an accurate boost gauge? What does it show?

ummm when i started it in the morning when i first noticed the problem it would hit boost then after a while it won't even hit that high pitch whine anymore. No boost gauge doesnt go up i dont feel any extra power even when i've got it at 6ks...

hmmm I think I figured out what caused the problem
haha the supra was my first turbo car and that was my first year driving
when I'd gun it down the high ways and i see my turn coming up
I'd be going 5500 in 5th and I'd just drop it in neutral and coast to the red light... anyways I'm planning on buying that baby back around summer hopefully original owner did some work on her
