Ok folks

just looking for some input. Unfortunatly I think I remember but not sure.

The oil return for the turbo just dumps the oil in the engine block but then goes directly to the oil pan?

If so can the stock oil return that is used by the oil cooler be used for the turbo oil return (not using that as I chucked it when I redid the oil system)?

stock oil return is dumbed into the block, going straight to the pan.
Some people tap the pan for a return port.
For the turbo, you want a big return (-10), and i don't think the oil cooler return is that big

figgie, so long as the oil level in the pan doesn't cover the return hole for the oil cooler, it is a fine spot to route the turbo drain. in fact, will (s383mmber1) and i decided that we were going to route his there, and we did. :)

yeah I have to do it as the routing of the stock oil return inteferes with the exhaust mani..... so block off plate for the OEM turbo oil return and to the oil pan.
