So I just finished a huge job on a rear main, exhaust manifold, turbo replacement, radiator upgrade.
Now I also switched to royal purple 5w30, but now my oil feed leaks on the uppermost bolt on the head side.
I think it's a 12mm nut because the bolt by the dipstick is. But whenever I get a grip with a 12mm nut with 9" of extension it breaks free like it's striping it.....does anyone have experience in what's the easiest way to do this?!

Do I need to take the turbo off the manifold to tighten it down? (I'd prefer not to...or am I being lazy? Lol)

On a side note:
It runs!!!
Spent over $150 in fluids
royal purple 75w90 (and now I hear I gotta switch to redline)
royal purple 5w30
3 Preston 50/50 mix
XD

So I got the bolt to move enough to get it to stop dripping, so I head out for a test drive.
Easing into all the gears slow for the new clutch, I get to the first road that isn't 20mph and decided to hit about 5psi real slow to see how it reacted, soon as I hit 1 pound, CEL!
hit 5 and let off (thought I heard a whine in the background while the bov went off?)
now it's also getting code 51? Did we hit my rear knock sensor when we took off the starter?

*edit* code 51 is that horrid swich signal code.....there's a JJ post to fix it I've followed parts of before but still can't figure it out...But what's strange is while I thought it was the knock sensor I felt around and discovered the ks harness connector ripped off? Car shows only code 51 tho?

your referring to the return hose for the turbo, it has 2x 12mm nuts on the flange plate, and there is a stud in the block for each nut. its fairly accessible if you remove the dump pipe the feed like is a single bolt that is 17mm and oil passes through the bolt into the feed line (return is the larger of the 2 lines)

as for the code 51, did you damage the engine loom at all, any other engine codes you get? perhaps a code 34?

51 was the only code before I took it apart and it's the only one now, but what's strange is it never threw the CEL before, it was just in the background and only visible during diagnosis. Now however it pops the light as soon as I begin to get positive pressure (1psi)
