So the guy who owned the car before me over tourqued the bolts that holt the exhaust manifold on and now a few of the studs wont go tight and they are causing an exhaust leak. are there any other options besides helicoiling the holes? thanks everyone for you help.

If it's the studs coming off the head to hold the actual manifold on, that's a common problem and helicoils are the best solution. It's a pain, but it is possible to do all the holes with a right angle drill and a shortened drill bit. Driftmotion sells a kit for exactly this issue.
ok thanks. i actually am using timeserts which are the same as helicoils but alot stronger. thanks for your help
