Turbo magazine cover supra!!

On the cover of the March issue of Turbo mag. there is a MK4 Supra.
This thing is putting out (so they claim) 1039 HP w/o nitrous and over
1300 with---. Is this really possible? It seems it is the first full weight
supra to turn in the 8s (8.89) in the 1/4 mile. This guy is running 30-40
PSI of Boost. Seems he had to go to 1/2" head studs to keep the head on.
This thing must have the reliability of a lit firecracker.

Very possible. Titan Motorsports put together a Mk4 that does 8.19 @ 185mph a while back, last I heard the car was still on tour.

Ok Ok so this has been done for a while. How long will a car like that last,
is is like a top fuel car with a life span measured in min's. or one summer of
street driving or is like a stock Carolla good for 200,000 miles. Just curious.

^^ Mvp his 1000+ hp supra is a DD he drives it everywhere, its got over 120k on the clock,
the 2jz is a very very strong engine,

Ken Henderson slammed out 1110whp out of his twin turbo without nitrous. That car is driven to work and is also driven to Vegas each year from So Cal. No trailers there.

Ryan Woon topped out our dyno this past year. The curve kept going but the numbers stopped at 1200whp - also without nitrous. His car is a trailer queen though. Ryan is one of my favorite Supra drivers of all time. No bouncing around on launch - just a nice squat and GO!

the bid was up to 80,000 but it never sold, at least the last time i checked, it could have went much higher
