What is the turbo light used for on the 1G-GTE?

It comes on when the turbo's start spooling up. Mine usually comes on around 3-5k RPM's. Sometimes not until I reach second gear. Basically no light on=it shouldn't be spooling. Unless your light is in-op of course.

the turbo light on the 1g-gte is the boost gauge : )
it got a voltmeter : P

keep me posted if this works cause i would also like my turbo light to work : )

YEs, I am trying to figure out which one of the wires to hook up.
At the back of the cluster, coming out of the white box, there is a black wire - Earth.ground

I think the yellow wire from the box should give me the signal I need.
