I have an 87 turbo supra and im thinking about making my own hard pipe that goes from the maf to the turbo intake cause buying one is way to costly. So i wanted to know what size is the inlet of the turbo and what is the size of the opening of the maf? I would check myself but im out of town n nowhere near my car at the moment and im posting this from my phone so yeah:aigo:

ok thanks for the info. i dnt wanna keep the KVAFM (karman vortex air flow meter) if i dont have to so i was thinking of getting an afm adapter insted i found a few online. but my ? is would that be a good idea seeing as im going to be switching to the lexis maf as soon as i get 550cc injectors. would this setup work or am i wasting my time?
the set up would look something along the lines of this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B000BPUTQE/ref=dp_otherviews_6?ie=UTF8&s=automotive&img=6

Sorry, I'm not the person that can help you with answers to going away from the AFM set-up. Perhapse some others will help this member?
My set-up is JDM ECU and Lex/550, adj fuel pressure regulator, stock CT26, Blitz Dual solonoid boost controller, AFC Neo and the car is making 270WHP.
What are your plans for your Supra?
Laying your plans out for us, would be very helpful.

What kind of adapter are you talking about?

The most common adapter that people use is the MAFT-Pro. There are many many threads on the board that talk about setup...
With something like this you would use a GM MAP sensor in place of the stock/Lexus AFM so there would be no 'upgrade to Lex..' later. The next step from that would be a full standalone ECU.
