I'm looking at buying this 1988 Supra the guy who owns it says its a turbo gt model is there such a thing?

I have seen a Turbo GT molding. I also had a guy swear it was a rare car, but I have seen them on a foreign car, but not sure what it was. I think maybe it was used on the Turbo A, I dunno. Maybe I just saw the moldings on Ebay. Too many maybe's, I'll shut up now.
Yeah its a craigslist post I spoke with the guy over the phone seemed pretty honest. He wants $1500 for it it has a blown headgasket of which I was going to swap out for a 1jz. It only has 70k miles so to me even with the blown headgasket it would be worth it, if its rare that would make it even a better deal.
Actually there is a 3.0gt badge for the rear molding. Its also on my car. I know its stock but idk if it came on my car or if it was a euro thing.

odds are he's either one of many silly ricers that don't know sh*t & truly believes his supra is a TURBO GT model... or he's plainly trying to trick you & rip you off.

As long as you aren't shocked to learn it is an MA70 with the 7MGTE engine. Excluding the junk people ship in because it is different.
