I have the death whine. Bought a used (good condition) ct26. I know that it is necessary to use new oil and coolant line gaskets. I have tried to get the part numbers off of this site, the tsrm, and from a stealership, but I get nothing except a $112 complete set. Any recommendations for making my own? I know this is stupid, and I would just order from driftmotion if I could, but my bank account is acting weird. I need something I can get/pay for in cash locally (Virginia Beach). I am trying to do this by friday, so I can actually make it to the richmond meet this saturday. Thank you for any help or advice! :1zhelp:

EDIT: I have rubberized paper/gasket material, but I am worried it will not seal and will leak oil and coolant. I need something stable/reliable.

You don't have to buy whole set if you don't want to and you don't need part# either . I usually go to Toyota dealer and tell them to bring up pictures on their computer then i just point to which ever part i want . for example ; if you need turbo gasket or turbo oil return gasket , tell them to bring up picture of turbo it should come up everything you need .

They did and it gives them nothing. I found someone I can go through though, thanks! I just got tired of dealerships feeding me crap.

okay, to bring back this thread, i have a 57 trim coming to me, and know that I will need the gaskets. Will I be okay using a sheet of gasket material, or is it necessary that i go and get dealer gaskets? I had originally planned on cutting the gaskets myself from the sheet of stuff, but this has me wondering if that will work...

Don't do it, we have the numbers. Let me get them from forcefed and I will re-post them. The gasket material will do in a pinch, but if you are not in a rush, do it right. I'm glad I did.
