has anyone ever bored out the stock turbo elbow with good results? it is the only restrictive part on my exaust.
and i have the maft pro installed and what do most people use when they done want the restritive stock maf still on im thinking of getting a welder to make me up a pipe from the turbo to my 180 dollar kn flang filter kit i dont want to waste.
ps if anyone has a used 3 inch turbo elbow down pipe combo pm me

I may be wrong, but I'd say a 3" from downpipe back with a stock elbow wouldn't make much of a difference.

But I'd say of you've got the money there's nothing better than the BIC DDP. It's been my favorite performance mod so far.

Fidanza flywheel, alum driveshaft, afpr, 2.5" ic pipes and DM fmic, bic ddp, 3" tp, obx 3" catback.
I went from some cheapos fleabay dp to the bic and it feels like a different car.

^^Exactly, for the price of a good elbow, you could have a good DP.

EDIT: What I meant was a full DP that does away with a separate elbow

Changing the stock downpipe, for even the HKS pipe with the stock elbow is a big gain over stock.

But the integrated elbow is by far the best, as already noted. At least get that LIPP elbow.

i really enjoy the vented DDP(BIC btw)... i have mine spray painted and wrapped, so its super stealth to avoid the cops. but damn when i open that wastegate i break necks! haha
