Turbo Coolant Line Leak Causing Overheating?

Alright, well I stole this picture off another thread. :naughty:
I searched around and couldnt find anything about this. Anyways, the supra Im buying overheated today when we were running it. The thing that I circled in the picture doesnt seal properly so I assume that it is sucking air into the coolant system causing it to overheat. When I shut the car off, the coolant resevoir was near full and there was small amounts of steam coming out around the radiator.

Could this leak be the cause of the overheating problem? If so, whats the best way to go about sealing or replacing this piece before we trying burping the coolant system?

any air in the system would quickly exit, and when the engine is hot the pressure increases so it wont be 'sucking' in air, it will be spewing out coolant and the volume displaced will fill with air from atmospheric pressure. If you say its leaking slowly then keep an eye on your coolant level. if its low then odds are this is the overheating issue...if it still has a good amount after a few runs and overheats you have a different problem.

I think that elbow is screwed on (i could be wrong here). If it is, unscrew it and use some teflon tape. If its simply leaking from a crack of somekind...throw on a bit of epoxy for a quick cheap fix
