Guys, I was just messing with you.. I'm sure you'll be just fine, my habit of being overly sarcastic is sometimes hard to see over the type.

I figured you were been sarcastic :D, still doesn't help lol. It's a big change with lots of money involved, even the sarcastic stuff makes me start to second guess the whole conversion. Will be a different story once it's finished though. I think I will go with the GT-K 650, TiAL 44mm wastegate and Drewgo manifold and dump. Just wondering if I should get the Driftmotion oil line kit while I'm at it. I will be ordering my Aeromotive FPR kit and some other stuff from Aaron soon. I'd assume the oil line kit they offer is good value like everything else. Will just get everything else made up once it all arrives.

While I'm here, is it worth it to get the replacement 1ST Gear Thrust Washer also? I know absolutely nothing about the internals of gearboxes... How hard would it be to change out while the engine swap is getting done?

Well, as far as I can tell its not the easiest thing to do.. at least a home job, in fact I think it would be rather difficult unless you had all the right tools.

Before starting swap I was researching it a bit and it seemed more worth it to wait until the damn thing went bad before replacing it, unless you know its going out. In that case perhaps worth it.

I don't have any more info than that but I'm sure the more experienced will know far more than I.

Nice numbers.
Why didn't you hit rev limit at 7200?

Kinda funny, my 3rd hits the rev at 7200 but my 4th lets it ride to 8200....

I confirmed that one time on the highway running with a Supra. I was on 4th pegged to floor and did not notice I was approching 150mph in 4th. My 4th is supposed to top out at 129. It got me there. It's a stock ecu.

HD bearing carrier: $45

HD thrust washer: $45 (you have to ask for it they dont have it listed on their web site.)

In my oppinion, you should use a Holset HX35 off of a cummins motor. I know of someone who may be willing to part with the turbo, manifold, DP and a 50mm knock off HKS wastegate for the right price (probably about what you are going to spend on a turbo alone, or less).

You can get them free easily.. just have to know where to look.
