Turbo A Oil Pan?

Does it exist. Supposedly it does and looks like this. I need a new oil pan. Badly. I would prefer this one because of how thick the metal is and the sealing part.

thats a GroupA oil pan used on the GroupA race Supras. TurboA's had factory style oil pans.

Very rare.

The stock oil pan is sufficient enough for a wet sump. But if you wanted bigger you can buy side pieces with baffles from speedway motors iirc.

Or go dry sump

Haven't seen one go up for sale for a long while, I would throw out a guess they would be in the 1k range if one did at this point.

Damn that's expensive but shit fuck it. I would buy it still. Beech performance only upgrades the oe one. Mine is warped and is no good. Waaaay out of repair. I want one new so it will be perfect. This it's the only reason why I have an oil leak and it's time to end it.

Well the group a pan will be used.

I don't mind it. Toyota no longer sells the part. Just started working at Toyota with hopes of buying it but no. So I'm forced to get it used

Don't worry about a group A oil pan. If you don't race your supra then just get a used stock one and chuck it on.

However if you do any kind of circuit racing or autocross then get one from beech with the trap doors. The stock sump is terrible under g forces the oil sloshes every ware and the oil pump runs dry. bye bye big end bearings. been there done that!

So a stock sump will be fine then. Being a danger to yourself and others on the street has noware near the g forces created where all the real racers play at the track

Yep they exist, and it's magnesium, not steel. I think I spent about $1k on mine 6+ years ago.

A more modern pan with trap doors is way better than the group a pan ever was. The only advantage to the group a pan is the windage tray which is nice to have. Dooley Enterprises made a handful and I was able to snatch one up for $100 but beech makes very similar ones. The Dooley pan requires the pickup to be modified since the sump sits 4" further back.

For $1000 id get an aluminum dry sump oil pan built instead.
