ok im a big fan of the search button but couldn't find anything....

my last mk3 was totaled out:3d_frown:. so instead of crying like a little girl, i have started to collect parts for my next one. my question is how do you proprely install a turbo a duct. i have heard cutting of the bumper support is needed is this true? i would like to prevent that for saftey reasons. any threads would be great thanks

If you want the duct to be other than just for show, the bumper support has to be cut.

Cut holes in the support, just enough for the opening in the duct. Then have reinforcements welded to the top and bottom of the support.

That's how I'd approach it anyway.

Ok thanks I think we need a write up in mkIII Refrence tips so this doesn't come up.

Also has anyone ever had a problem with intercoolers clearing because of this because I have a big intercooler going in and don't know if it will upset it. Has anyone had this problem. And if so did u angle it?

All help is appreciated
