would appreciate any help regarding this, i seem to be hitting fuel cut hahah... got to about 12psi (and omg does it pull!!!!) and bang goes the cel and killing my fuel *sniff sniff*

i'm thinking of getting a 8psi spring and seeing how far i can get instead of using the 1 bar spring

but omg it's awesome, it's awesome!!! more rpm would be nice tho haha

heres my wideband screenshot of where i hit fuel cut

oh and i'm already organising to get a stinger but i gotta get the $$ together first hehe, so help me out in the meantime ;) :)

TIA

Doesnt look like thats where its hitting fuel cut. attach the Zeitronix file so i can check it out, i use Zeitronix its such an awesome program. youll need to ean out the top end by scaling the AFM signal to make the TCCS see less airflow leaning the mixture and raising fuel cut. by that little snapshot id say your running rich as it is anyway and could benifit from a good tune.

My car used to be that rich and i tuned it to a 12.0 a/f and the car has a noticeable amount more power, not to mention not hitting fuel cut at 10 psi anymore.

Whats do you have hooked up to user input? i put the VF on mine so i could also datalog what the TCCS was trying to do to make tuning easier. Also you will be able to tell when the TCCS is in open loop because the VF will peg 0 and you can figure out like what rpm, tps and boost level you can start making adjustments without the TCCS adapting and untuning the car.

You seem to be well on the rich side at average of like 10.3. you could take a good point and a half A/F out of up top above ~4500rpm and your car would run alot stronger and raise fuel cut. 1.5 a/f points is IIRC 15% reduction in fuel on your tuner in a perfect world.

i would hook up the VF to user input so you can see whats goin on and when the tccs is coming out of closed loop to see when you can start tweaking and just start pulling fuel above 4500 a little at a time making passes in between to keep tabs on it. take out like 2% at a time too see how much of a change you get and based on how big of a change it is adjust the fuel accordingly.

Not sure how your tuning device works but with the maft gen2 i have low, medium and high load maps. i can set the maps up based on amount of load. i have the load set to TPS rather then by maf/rpm or map. i never want to make big adjustments to the tune in closed loop because the TCCS will readjust and counteract my tuning, so i set the high load table to be active at about 90% throttle. At that throttle percent its always in open loop so i can adjust without the tccs knowing it. took a little bit to get used to but once you get the hang of it its goes easy, took a couple days to get my tune locked in pretty good.

mk3brent was saying use ur Fuel pressure regulator (assuming u have one to raise ur overall fuel pressure) then use ur gcc to pull a precentage of fuel from that this will allow to run more boost and get around fuel cut

nosechunks... thanks for that info :D i'll hook up user input to VF, that'll be interesting

the fcon is preprogrammed so the most i can do is - or + fuel with the gcc and change maps inside the fcon which i have set to 0 or 1 which is 15psi daily drive with some boost, 4-7 i think is daily drive to 15psi with lots of boost and so on up to 10 :)

No problem, its very useful to be able to see the fuel trim on the same screen as your airfuel.

So all you can do is + or - fuel overall? i wouldnt lean it out like that if its across the board because after a couple drives the tccs will adapt and re-tune itself back to the way it was.

I attached my log from my 13.8 run, you can see the user bieng the VF, im a little rich cause its pulling some fuel but its nothing major and getting it right is a real pain.

You can also see as soon as i went WOT user pegged zero indicating fuel trim was turned off and running off preprogrammed maps (open loop). Thats the time to make adjustments. if you make them while still in closed loop the tccs will see them via oxy sensor and re adjust the mixture to how it was before until it cant anymore.

I still need to tweak above 5500 cause im goin a little rich up top, and im getting slight interference witch makes my rpm graphs a little jagged but im in the process of re-doing the whole setup and should be good to go.

Also any adjustments you make in closed loop will carry over to open loop. When i first got it i was tuning before it went into open loop and my tune would be good for a run or two and then go back to being overly rich because of this. ever since i changed the load point of the high map to 90% throttle i havnt had the issue since and my tunes been rock solid.

Good luck getting her figured out :)

the gcc only adjusts mixture at wot :) so i don't care about cruising lol, well i do a little bit, i'd like to have some fuel economy haha.. but the stockie seems to be taking care of that quite well...

i'll have to dig out the wiring for the zt2 and find out which is user input, and then i'll tap that to the ecu

yea i see what you mean about the jagged bit on the rpm heh

thanks :D

that's what i've been told anyhow, when i adjust it at idle, absolutely nothing happens, i tried going +12% and not even a flicker so i would say it's def a wot controller hehe
And i'd be able to somewhat test it if the tranny didn't kick down to 2nd and only let me have boost for 4 seconds haha, i think that's where i need the laptop in the car so i don't have to worry bout lookin LOL
