well my mods are

big single
ebay mani
3in full exhaust
440s
fpr set at 45psi base.
supra pump rewired

i think thats it

so far i have made 420 on pump and i was takin alot of fuel out with the safc. at least 20 percent....

i wanted more power but was worried about detenation so i filled up with 110 and so far made 470 and im still takin fuel out with the safc. this is at like 23psi. i made 470 right before 6k then i started to blow out spark.

goin to retune with new plugs and see what i can make. i want 500.


does me takin out fuel with 440 sound right. i keep my fuel ratio at like 11.8max under boost.

You will blow up your motor trying to push 500 hp with 440cc. Heck, I'm surprised it didn't already blow up when you claimed it made "470" hp.

But if he is still getting a lot of fuel with 440's when he made 470...then there is no danger, is there?
If it is about getting enough fuel and if those so called 440's are supplying plenty....then i guess its ok. However looking back at people's experiences here, and other forums .... you may want to make sure you are "really" getting enough and abundant fuel with those 440's. it may be a freak ..or luck that you can push it that much.

The fuel pressure on the afpr is set to 45 psi !? wow. When was this Fuel pressure reading taken? ie:at idle, in boost etc..

We had 2 widebands hooked up to it. Not going lean with plenty extra fuel left over. Like he said we are pulling out fuel with the safc. I have a feelings its not 440's that he has in there.

your fuel pressure is way high. is that with vacuum or without vacuum at idle?
its possible your injectors are working beyond their safe duty cycle being forced by hte pressure. i would upgrade injectors

i got injectors off a guy for 100 bones shiped. he said they were off his jdm 2jz and he rook them off once it arrived from being shipped.


thats with vaccum i believe.

what should i set the fpr at.
and what color are 440 so i can double check mine, mine are grey color

You should post those injector part numbers, that would help us out a lot. You said big single @ 23 PSI with 470whp I almost fell out of my chair. I guess "Big" is relative.

i did like 23 24 psi and made 470 right at 6k before i started blowin out spark with the stock plugs..

o and i dont have a fcd installed or anything.

If 440cc's is right, I agree that you are PRESSURING more fuel through the injectors at wide open and hence, poorly controlled/high flow. Should be making your target power at 85% injector duty cycle max for safe/controlled tune. (or less)

Either way, 45psi @ idle on an FPR with boost-gain (1psi fuel/1psi boost, example...) over base setting seems REALLY HIGH to me. That would explain why you are dialing OUT so much fuel with the safc...


My uneducated thoughts...


PS: I once calculated the max. HP with 440's and it was something a little UNDER 400hp @15psi range at near 100% duty cycle... (Don't ask me the specifics... I'd have to dig out some math again.;)

Dude.. i say get some 550's.. They are still drop -ins for your rail and you will be SURE that you are safe with fuel... This lucky 440's thing wont be all good for too long... AND most def.. turn that fuel pressure down. w/o vaccum it should be 40psi at idle i believe...

just got emanage ultimate and lookin for bigger drop in injectors as wee speak.
