Does a 89+ turbo have different trim then a N/A? Wife likes my 87 Turbo trim and wants it on her 89. Not sure if there was a different set for the turbo's. Tried explaining that with her back lights it may not work.. Get this she was like fine get me trim like yours an put pre 89 tails on it!!!

Turbo and na trim are the same. Only difference is the badge and pre vs post

Dunno why she would want pre tails on a post car. Most pre guys don't want there tails. I might have 2 full sets tho. 20 each Set plus shipping.

I believe there are only two different sets of molding, one being pre-1989 and the other 1989+. Well, other than the fact turbo's have "turbo" below the driver's tail light and the 3.0 Turbo blinker grill.

Good luck. The pre-89 trim is metal backed and rusts. It also gets bent to hell on removal and is no longer made. The section under the license plate isn't replacable (well, it is, but you'd have to cut it off and glue on the other)

There's about 4 different trims...

1986.5-1988 Trim
1987 JDM Trim (one year only, 88 went back to 86.5 style)
1989-1992 (soft rubber strip) Trim
1989-1992 GA70 JDM only (hard plastic) Trim

of course there's narrow body and wide body trim in all styles, and JDM/Euro trim didn't have rear sidemarkers

only different in the US for 89+ trim is the addition of a rear Turbo badge if so equipped, and that came in Gray (white package) or White (all other colors), pre 89 trim is the same..
