I made a little wiring connector service tool per the Toyota Repair Manual directions. I can depin just about every connector but the single terminal water temp and oil pressure sender.

Does anyone know how to de-pin these? The oil pressure, I can move the locking tab up and release the pin a small amount, but it catches on something else. I can't see any other locking tab or possible moving part in the connector. For the water temp one, I cant even feel the locking tab. I'm at a loss. :(

Anyone done this before?

Idk what the plugs look like but sometimes there is a piece that needs to be released before being able to pick the tab and pull the pin out.

For anyone that sees this in the future:

The oil pressure has a very forceful tab you must pull up on. Takes a lot of force compared to most other connectors. Once the top tab is pulled out, it comes out like any other terminal. It takes so much force, I was sure that tab wasn't a movable piece.

The actual terminal is quite intricate. It's far from a standard spade terminal that I've seen. Haven't been able to find one anywhere and I'm afraid I might have to hack one of the terminals I have and splice it together.

If you have the pre 89 water temp sensor then the pins and connectors are identical to that of an EV1 injector connector. A google search will show how to depin one of those without much trouble, just need something small enough to fit into the small opening above the pins.
