Let me start by saying I am going to make an attempt to learn how automatic transmissions work and I was curious if the 7m-gte would bolt up to either of the two transmissions I have in mind.
The two transmissions i have in mind are:
GM 2004R, since they're fairly common for drag racing, and
GM 7004R, since I have a built one in my garage from an old camaro project that was sold.
I was curious if these would bolt up to a 7mgte, and if not, what modifications would be necessary since i recently decided on that instead of a 2jz because of cost. I also lowered my power goals to about 450 RWHP from 550.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
